1) The next Christian Skate Night is October 13th. CSN is now every second Monday of the month, spread the news and tell some friends! It starts at 6:30pm and ends at 9:30pm. It's $2.50 at the door, and it costs an extra $1.50 to rent skates. Come out to this great night of fellowship with Christian music while you skate with other believers.
2) Another great event to come out to is Club Worship. Which is held every second Saturday from 7:00pm-10:00pm, at the Olympian Ballroom. Sometimes it goes past 10:00pm depending on the flow of the Holy Spirit The address is 603 Penn Ave., West Reading, Pa.. The cost is $6.00 at the door, $5.00 each if you buy tickets ahead of time, and it's $40.00 for a book of 10. The next one is the second Saturday in September, October 11th. 3) Also at 6th and Cherry, Hopewell hosts a great event called Infinity. It goes down EVERY Friday night, from 8pm-11pm. There is no entrance fee. There is music played constantly, board games, video games, ping pong, air hockey, food and snacks to buy, and arts and crafts to make. There is also a time for devotion and worship. September 26th, is a staff and volunteer meeting only. All that have helped out with Infinity in the past are to report promptly at the church by 7:00pm.

5) Want to help the younger children with their homework? Then come check out Dove's Nest. It's an Church sponsored organization that helps tutor children with the aid from volunteers at the high school. More info to come...
6) Prayer At The Pole is every third Wednesday of the Month. The next one will be October 15th. Early bird special at 7am and mid afternoon snack at 3:20, for spiritual food that is. We'll be meeting at Reading High's flagpole.
7) Flex 500 is just around the corner. Well not really, but come October 1st, the strongest man, pound for pound is coming to Reading. That's right, Dennis Rogers is coming to Gladtidings Church at 7pm on Wednesday October 1st. He'll be preforming feats of strength and giving his personal testimony. Come for a time of utter disbelief in more than one way. And bring friends! Also, there will be an arm wrestling contest between the schools represented. There will be one guy, and one girl chosen from each school to compete in a tournament. Guys against guys, and girls against girls.
